Your Personal Mentor for Starting Up a Business in India
By Sohin
This book is for start-ups who plan to setup a business in India. It tells you step by step, how to go about setting up, not in the usual textbookish manner, but rather in a "get up and do something" style which is conversational. The ease with which the material is presented is such that you can't help but understand the step and take it forward.
The chapters are broken into 20 keys steps, such as getting ideas, putting together a team, estimating resources, choosing the right technology, raising capital, putting a face to your customer and everything a starting entrepreneur would need.
It is virtually like having your own mentor with you, showing you what to do at every step of the way whilst starting up your business. Sketches and hand drawings make the reading pleasant and a 'Takeaway' box at the end of each chapter makes sure you get the gist of it right.
The content would also be particularly useful for people outside India looking to do something in India or South Asia, since it covers topics such as getting patents, registering the company and protecting your intellectual property.
Very nicely done. I would also recommend this as a reference, or as a gift, for students studying entrepreneurship, or looking to start their own company or firm in the future.
