Perfect for lovers of Russian architect, history, and art alike!

I actually had the pleasure of reading this book while taking a course with Vladimir Paperny himself at UCLA. The content is very attention grabbing, and interesting, in contrast to many historical books that tend to be very dry. I would suggest this book to anyone who has an interest in Russian Society, especially during the communist era. I am so happy I was able to ask him to sign it for me!
